The call for panels for the next World Congress of Political Science is now open until 26 August. RC38 Politics and Business warmly encourage scholars to submit panel proposals.

Last time in Seoul, we had five outstanding sessions covering different dimensions of businesses' political activities:

  • RC38.01 Corporate Lobbying and Social Responsibility
  • RC38.02 The Politics of Creative Industries in the Digital Economy Era
  • RC38.03 The Role of Regulation in Political Lobbying and the Promotion of Transparency and Accountability: A Comparative Mexican Perspective
  • RC38.04 Book Launch: Advanced Introduction to Business and Government by David Coen and Matia Vannoni,
  • RC38.05 Corporate Interests and Politics

Each panel must include at least:

  1. a chair, and
  2. a discussant (responsible for commenting on the papers).

This is an excellent opportunity to advance our research agenda on politics and business, strengthen networks within the committee, and showcase ongoing work to an international audience.

The World Congress will take place from 24 to 28 July in Rome.
